Why do forward slashes appear before " when saving the html?

I am using "My own html" for the display page for banned users. When saving my html, the script puts \ before every "

Example:

<img src=\'http://domain.com/banners/shame.jpg\'>

This breaks the code and my image does not appear. How do I fix this?

Jobee, this was coming due to an unsupported feature on your web server.

However we have rebuilt your server compatible version, which you can download from the temporary link to resolve the mentioned problem.
